Chris Rawlence – Director of Media

For the past ten years, Chris has made more than 150 films with people living with life-threatening illnesses. His work has taken him to hospices and other health settings all over the UK.

In his earlier career he founded the left wing theatre company, Red Ladder in the seventies, has written two books and contributed to several more and has worked for twenty years in broadcast television. Among his many film credits, he has directed The Mind Traveller, a six part series presented by Oliver Sacks for BBC2, and two television operas for which he also wrote the librettos for Channel 4.
