Jennifer Sweeney – Programme and Development Manager

Jennifer joined Rosetta Life in 2009 following the management of a major project developing the UK’s first Deaf Cultural Centre in Birmingham, a role that provided her with the opportunity to become a level 2 qualified British Sign Language user. Jennifer previously worked designing and managing events for Creative Partnerships London North and as a drama and English teacher in Istanbul, founding the Little Door Theatre Company. Jennifer graduated from the 4 year Drama course at University of Kent, Canterbury, specialising in contemporary performance and is also an accredited project manager and marketer (CIM) with a keen interest in the role of the arts in social marketing. Jennifer speaks fluent Turkish and in her spare time manages the electronic music label UK Trends and performs and devises work in Staffordshire with local voluntary and professional arts organisations.
