Lewis became a Freemason as a young man after the war and over the ensuing decades made a steady and telling contribution to a number of Lodges in South London.

Always happy to talk about his experiences - and ever anxious to rubbish any accusations of mystification - he sees Freemasonry as an important part of his life and draws great value from the regular activities and friendships. Here are some of his reflections.
