"I am Joan Henwood (nee Brewer). I was born in Cornwall, and lived there for eighty years. The county is very important to me, and my memories will always be special. I long to go back and visit the old familiar places. I now live in Cambridge. I've always wanted to write. It widens my mind, allows me to think. Writing uplifts my spirit and enrichens my mind."
