Performing Ourselves

An exhibition of self-portraiture by hospice users developed in partnership with Rosetta Life.

We are launching a self-portraiture competition and invite hospice users across the UK and internationally to submit work for what will become an exciting on-line and touring exhibition.  We are particularly interested in images that explore the identity of people living with dying.  The exhibition has been initiated by Rosetta Life artist Robin Blackledge, who developed the idea in hospices across London.  Selected images will appear on our website and be included in the touring exhibition.

Submission details:

• Each person may submit up to 3 images on one CD to           Central Office

• There is a £5 submission fee for up to 3 images, payable by cheque to Rosetta Life.
• The deadline for submissions is July 31st 2009
• Images should be  submitted  in .TIFF, .PSD or .JPG file format.
• Images should be named: your last name, followed by the image number (01, 02, or 03) followed by ".TIFF", “PSD” or ".JPG" - eg: if Mary Smith submits her third image in JPEG format it should be titled  "smith03.jpg".
• When saving images please try to keep the file size as large as possible.
• Please include the following with your submission:

• Your name
• Your email address, if applicable
• Your contact address
