Poems for World Day winner announced!
After over 150 poems were entered into the online poetry competition from 32 countries, a winner was announced. Beverley Ashills' poem "Unwanted Guests" won the competition after an online vote of a shortlist of 10. The prize was presented at a celebration at Tate modern where all the short-listed poets read their work.
The extremely strong shortlist can be viewed at Poems for World Day and have now been compiled into an anthology, called Life Lines, which is available from Claire Morris at Help on the Hospices on 0207 520 8250, priced £5.
