St. Luke's Hospice, Billericay School and Rosetta Life learn together!
St. Luke's Hospice and Billericay School have worked together in a project to introduce young people to life at a hospice.
A group of students visited Day Care to talk with Hospice users about their lives and then designed a leaflet and mini-movies about the themes they talked about. The central theme was about growing up in or near London during and after the war.
The boys were fascinated by these memories and the Hospice guests were impressed by their interest and technical skills.
The project has continued with Rosetta Life artist, Simon Hyde offering a master-class at school, using Flash to produce short animations about their understanding of life at a Hospice.
