'Sealed With A Loving Kiss' by Audrey Lee

SWALK by Audrey Lee

Audrey Lee has been writing poetry for many years and they have become a form of diary for her, reflecting all the significant moments in her life. Audrey hasn't shared most of her poems with anyone but she was thrilled that through Rosetta Life she would be able to get in touch with other hospice users around the country. This led her to embark on a piece of Mail Art called 'Sealed With A Loving Kiss'. The project has involved sending a kiss in the form of a poem to other hospice users who are interested in poetry with the hope that they will respond. The poem was written when Audrey was diagnosed whilst the statue, given to her by a friend, appeared on the bed next to her when she awoke after an operation. This is an ongoing piece of work.

Audrey, a poet who attends the day hospice at St Barnabas has been sending Kisses in the post. She is looking for fellow poets/artists at other hospices to respond to her. For those with access to the community site please go to: people, south east, Audrey Lee and leave your address on her message board.
