Barnett “ This is a City”
Clive’s first video project originated from the bedside on the
Moore ward and was derived from a recorded conversation between himself
and the Artist. Clive directed the film content and narrative as Rosetta
Life filmed time-lapse footage of the wards, the cityscape views and
his ritualistic arrival and departure from the hospital. The film has
been shown on the wards where a doctor said that he found it to be a
unique experience to be given the opportunity to share the person and
the patient in such a direct and immediate way.
